Description
A 2010 (approximately) Fender HH Telecaster from the Fender Mexico-made Blacktop series.
This one has been quite extensively modified, although the body and neck are original to the guitar, as are the tuners.
The original silver poly finish is intact, albeit quite heavily chipped and marked in numerous places.
Body wood is alder.
The neck is one-piece, plain maple with a walnut skunk stripe at the rear. Neck radius is 9.5″.
The serial number has been sanded off the back of the headstock.
Modifications
The 22-fret neck has been professionally refretted with jumbo stainless steel wire.
The frets are immaculately installed and well-polished. There are no issues with playing and the action is comfortably low.
Bone nut.
The neck is a classic Fender C with the following dimensions:
Neck width, nut: 42.25mm
Neck width, 12th: 51.9mm
Neck depth, nut: 22.5mm
Neck depth, 12th: 23mm
Fret width: 2.9mm
Fret Height: 1.5mm

- Replacement mother-of-pearl scratchplate
- Replacement Hipshot bridge with stainless steel saddles (top E saddle is mis-matched but also stainless).
- Replacement switch-plate with extra spacing between 3-way switch and volume control.

- Irongear Dirty Torque, bridge (16k)
- Tonerider Generator, neck (fitted with brushed satin cover) (8k)
- Modified wiring, as follows:
- 3-way switch, master volume with push/push pot which switched the neck pickup between series and parallel; master tone with push/push which switches the bridge pickup between series and parallel.
- This gives 8 possible sound combinations.
- The weight of this guitar is 8.6lbs
There is no case but a hard case can be added at extra cost.
